Day 1: Cape Town
On arrival into Cape Town transfer to the Ilita Lodge Garden Route located in the centre of the city. Offering contemporary accommodation close to all the restaurants and bars of Long Street, you are well placed to enjoy the city’s night scene. By day the Waterfront is popular with its many tourist attractions and the city is blessed with some beautiful beaches on its doorstep at Camps Bay and Clifton.
DAY 5: Botswana
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Johannesburg to begin your Safari. This evening you will meet your fellow travellers to have a briefing on the adventure that lies ahead. Other great game viewing opportunities are in Chobe, famous for its impressive elephant herds. Finish at the spectacular Victoria Falls where there is a guided tour and free time to take part in one of the many optional activities.
DAY 6: Okavango Delta
The journey heads north over the border into Botswana where over the next twelve days, highlights will include game drives in the Tuli Block and Khama Rhino Sanctuary, a night surrounded by the vast Makgadikadi salt pans and a tranquil makoro trip in the Okavango Delta.
DAY 17: Farewell
Take the short journey to Victoria Falls airport for your onward flight.
